Granite in general

Clean stone surfaces with a few drops of a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a soft cloth for surfaces for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use scouring powders or creams; these products contain abrasives that may scratch the surface.

Recommendations

We recommend that you reseal your granite countertop once a year for dark colors and twice for light colors stones. To reseal your stones, follow these steps:

Clean and dry the surface as instructed earlier.
Wipe the surface with industrial Acetone #3 ( found in hardware stores)
       using cotton rag.
Using the “penetrating sealer 511 impregnator”, apply the solution on the
       cotton rag and wipe the countertop in small sections ( 3 to 4 feet at a time)
Use another clean and dry cotton rag to wipe the same area.
Do not leave the sealer on the granite for too long, it might leave a
       gummy film on the surface.
